Data Deletion Instructions

When a business connects Facebook Messenger or Instagram DM to Kuitan, we may store the following information only as needed to provide the messaging service:

• Facebook Page identifiers, page names, and channel connection records.
• Instagram Business Account identifiers connected to the selected Facebook Page.
• Access tokens or credentials required to send and receive messages, stored securely.
• Customer profile information provided by the platform, such as display name, profile picture, and platform user ID.
• Conversation content, attachments, and operational logs needed to deliver customer support features.

You can request deletion of Meta-related data in one of these ways:

• Disconnect a channel in Kuitan: Log in to Kuitan, open your organization, go to Settings / Connection settings, and remove the connected Facebook or Instagram channel.
• Remove Kuitan from Meta: Open Facebook Settings & Privacy, go to Settings, then Apps and Websites, find the Kuitan app, and remove it.
• Email us: Send a request to support@kuitan.ai with the subject "Meta Data Deletion Request".

To help us verify and process your request, please include your Kuitan account email, organization name, Facebook Page name or ID, and Instagram account name or ID if applicable.

After we verify a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize Meta-derived data associated with the relevant account or channel, including:

• Stored access tokens and channel credentials.
• Facebook Page and Instagram connection records that are no longer needed.
• Platform identifiers tied to the deletion request where feasible.
• Conversation records, message content, and attachments if the business requests removal of the related workspace data.

We may retain limited records when required for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Any retained data will be minimized and isolated from active product use where practical.

• We will acknowledge verified deletion requests as soon as practical.
• We aim to complete deletion or anonymization within 30 days of verification.
• Backups and secondary copies may take additional time to expire according to our backup retention cycle.

If Meta sends a data deletion request through its platform tools, Kuitan will use the request details to identify and remove the relevant Meta-derived data. Until an automated callback endpoint is published, this page should be used as the public Data Deletion Instructions URL.
